Return Policy

Items that have been used installed or modified will not be accepted. We accept only saleable items in the original package. You may be charged for missing parts, manuals and any restocking fees that the manufacture may charge pulse shipping fees.  Custom orders may not be returned unless they have operational or manufacturer design defect.

We are not responsible for any labor cost, which occur as the result of the installation of wrong or defective parts.  In addition we are not responsible for lost shipments.  You must file a lost shipment with the respective shipper.

1.       Clearance item will be marked as such, and do not qualify for return unless defective.

2.       Returns can only be made with in 14 days of receiving your product(s).

3.       Exchange can only be made with in 30 days of receiving your product(s).

4.       Merchandise must have not been damaged in freight transit.

Once the product is received at our warehouse in good condition we will issue a refund for the amount of the product to the same card used for the purchase, less original shipping charges.  The returned item must be received by us within 14 days of receipt of return authorization.  The refund for the returned item will be made upon receipt and inspection. If we determine that the item has been installed or used, credit will not be issued and the item maybe returned to you at your expense.  Notification will be sent to the e-mail and/or billing address provided should you return not be accepted.  Items will be resent to you upon receipt of your payment of freight charges.  Items will be deemed abandoned if we are not contacted within 30 days.

We can only process returns and refund only for items purchased from Northwood Lighting.   You are responsible for all freight Charges. However you will be credits all reasonable and customary freight charges relevant to that item if product is defective or the wrong item was shipped.

 

Warranty

Northwood Lighting will honor all available manufacturer warranties still in effect covering manufacture defects.  Please contact us by phone or email for an RMA number. Items without RMA number will be returned to the customer and will not be processed. Please see below for instruction on returning merchandise to Northwood Lighting. 

Returning an Item

Before you return an item to us, you must first contact us by phone or email with in 14 days. We will supply you with a RMA number and shipping instruction for return.  Items without RMA number will be return to the customer and will not be processed. The RMA number will be to secure you received credit for you return. You must write the RMA number down on the return form and include it with you items.  If possible a copy of your e-mail invoices as well.

 

Please pack the item in its original box.  Be sure to pack such that all parts are included and the item will not be damaged during shipping. You must ship products to Northwood Lighting by Fed ex or UPS and make note of the tracking Number.  If you ship via USPS, insurance and delivery confirmation will be required.
